From a small town 30 minutes outside of Toledo, OH, three childhood friends reconnected as adults and began making music together. Through chance they won a contest for free recording and Oliver Hazard was born. Oliver Hazard makes the kind of music for fishing on the river, hiking in a quiet forest or cross country road trips with your friends. As they begin to come into their own identity as a band, but also individual songwriters, the Northern Lights EP begins to tell their new story; a story of shared experiences, a shared sense of place, and a shared sense of community.
