When we look for something we don't stop, we keep moving and what defines us is the transition and not the places we go through. “Não Lugar” or "Non-Place" is the name of the new album by O GAJO and represents another exploration cycle featuring O GAJO's main instrument, the Portuguese Chordophone from Alentejo called the Viola Campaniça. The album represents O GAJO's Fourth Cycle of experimentation and exploration of this ancient instrument. This time, with moments as diverse as the collaborations with instruments like the Korá Guineense played by Braima Galissá, the Indian Sitar by Saturnia, the Viola Braguesa by Vasco Casais (OMIRI), the Viola Resonadora Brasileira by Ricardo Vignini, the Turkish electric Saz by Thomas Attar Bellier or even the voice of Kátia Leonardo. A journey across 4 continents aboard an adventurous viola Campaniça travelling from the Alentejo, across the world.
