DEVADO is the alias of Munich-based RnB pop singer Debby van Dooren. Being a so called "DIY artist", the German-American writes, records and produces all her songs in her basement home studio only using her vocals and body percussion on all of her productions. She transforms each sound into an instrument. She has been releasing a new single every six to eight weeks and is building her online community "Escape Island", going live every week and letting them decide on what songs they would like her to release! In 2022 DEVADO released seven "mood-singles", including voice over tracks to each song. She decided to bundle them to an album, taking her listeners into her world of "MOODS", from happy to sad. In March 2021 DEVADO released her song "Never Gonna Fit In" that made its way into German radio stations and Mercedes-AMG invited the artist to perform it for the reveal of their newest car EQS 53 at the IAA. Wonderland and Earmilk introduced the bubbly artist to their audience in 2022 and Spotify has featured her songs in their editorial playlists. Every six to eight she has been releasing a new song and in 2023 she was chosen to be a part of the „Female Producers Collective“.
