SCI+TEC look to the East for our latest release and a label debut from Takashi & Isao, better known to many as SUDO. With an musical history steeped in the euphoric sounds of their live Trance project ‘Indigo’, SUDO have taken their sounds far and wide, playing festivals and parties across Asia and Europe. 2011 found Takashi & Isao looking to explore new sounds and directions, infusing their trance-talent with darker, tougher and often more industrial sounds. Techno was the path, and within months the duo were supporting the mighty Sven Vath on Cocoon’s Japanese tour, a feet that was to be repeated a year later. Today we welcome SUDO to the SCI+TEC family with their 4 track SCI+TEC debut, 'Monogram EP’. A selection of cuts that have already found favour with label boss Dubfire and are now ready to be unveiled. The eerie coded, melodic drop-lets and bell tone of title track ‘Monogram’ opens the release. ’Invisible Space’ and ’Twisted’ follow with their expansive atmospherics, sweeping rises and popping melodic riffs. ‘Sensation’ closes the EP and sees the brothers push things deeper and, as always, we’re again treated to an exclusive collection of SUDO DJ tools.
