The Berlin based yet Italy raised DJ and producer no.name returns to the label with an expansion of his signature tool-ish sound. Expect 4 no-nonsense cuts, perfectly suited for the Techno DJ. Starting off with a pounding groove and plenty of details, “Mils” is a perfect example of what to expect from the artist. Intensity is driven upwards on “West”, an impactful, driving tool with a synth line that easily sticks in your head. Coming in with a heavy low end, on “Drum Tool A” tension is built up by an atmospheric pad, a tension that’s released on the drop with a proper percussive workout. Last but certainly not least, emotive pads and an old school feel paired with a deep groove take over on “Nacht”, finishing up the release.
