Soundscape 'Lost In Tundra' invites listeners into a fascinating arctic haze, gently illuminating muted harmonies through pristine harp tones with hues of grey crystal and introspective melancholy. 'Lost In Tundra' is the second single from transcendental ambient album 'Snowfalls' by Thomas Trueman and Louise spencer. _______ Crystalline collaboration 'Snowfalls' presents 7 transcendental sonic portraits crafted by electronic producer Thomas Trueman and classical ambient harpist Louise Spencer. Fascinated by winter light and its prismatic refractions through snow and ice, Thomas Trueman captivates listeners with resonant, slowly evolving drones and euphoric synth beds, casting expansive landscapes of cinematic musical wonder, decorated with the scintillating beauty of dancing harp tones by Louise Spencer which glisten through the harmonic ambience. Thomas Trueman says: "I wanted to explore a contemplative mood through gentle drones and varied subdued textures, heavily inspired by the daily works of Michiru Aoyama. Having worked with Louise Spencer on her debut ambient album, I knew that the delicate tones would be perfect for this winter-inspired album." Louise Spencer elaborates: "I loved adding little melodic and harmonic touches to colour Thomas's sound beds. I started at first with improvisations, mindful of the existing shape and journey of the drone layers which we wanted to remain equally as important. I needed to be careful not to overplay and to leave room for the music to breathe. Bit by bit, the character of each individual piece began to emerge and take form." With intricate microscopic details and muted, frosty foley within vast suspended harmonic canvases, Thomas and Louise weave an evocative winter tapestry seamlessly blending electronic and classical elements to reflect the unfolding beauty of winter. Pause and admire the calming sonic bliss of 7-track masterpiece 'Snowfalls'.
