Long Island, New York 1978 (Live)

Influential rock band Television, is considered to be one of the forefathers of punk and alternative rock music. Musically accomplished, its unique, often delicate approach to guitar playing influenced almost every guitar-based band in the post-punk era. Its debut album, Marquee Moon, is considered a classic of the rock genre, while its second album, Adventure became a commercial and critical success, establishing Television as a band to be taken seriously. Unlike many of the garage and punk bands that would follow in their wake, the members of the classic line up of Television – Tom Verlaine, Richard Lloyd, Billy Ficca, and Fred Smith – crafted their songs, spending many hours rehearsing and refining their sound.
