Quebec-based World music innovators Intakto release their third album “Lazos”. Chilean singer-guitarist Alejandro Venegas and Quebec violinist Simon Claude reassert their reputation for crafting intoxicating, moving, and incendiary music. Intakto’s compositions, are imbued with the touching words of contemporary poet Manuel Aranguiz sung in Spanish by Alejandro in his warm, suave voice, and supported by Simon Claude’s incisive yet sparkling violin interventions as well as an assembly of first rate musicians backing them on them on the album’s 12 tracks.
