OLMA is the moniker of one of many artist projects of Minneapolis composer, Chris Bartels. OLMA was inspired at home, he says, waking up one late morning, his family asleep, he grabbed his acoustic guitar and field recorder and began to catalog several musical ideas in various spaces around the house. OLMA is an ambient project with minimalist, experimental guitar elements that creates a cinematic feel to simple moments of stepping outside of ones self.
