By all intents and purposes, when news emerged that Mastodon were to be scoring a movie starring Megan Fox, we thought it was too good to be true. Through studio problems and changes in personnel surrounding the movie ‘Jonah Hex’, it looks as though not much of Mastodon’s sprawling, epic brilliance is going to make it into the movie itself. Boo! Hiss!  On the flip-side, it has been revealed that a six-track EP of the music the band have recorded for ‘Jonah Hex’ will be released next Tuesday (June 29th) and will include the tracks ‘Death March’, ‘Clayton Boys’, ‘Indian Theme’ and ‘Train Assault’.
