For his new EP Inner Mirrors Mr. Käfer combines a well known sound aesthetic, which is true to its hiphop origin, bringing in new soundscapes to his introspective and jazz inspired sound. For focus track "From Above", Mr. Käfer explains, "This one is inspired by the things that happen in life which are out of one’s own control. 'From Above' comes with jazzy piano chords, an animated but restrained guitar melody and laid back drums. A song that offers some space to reflect about life, it's dynamics and to learn to trust in them." Mr. Käfer is a Cologne-based beatmaker and producer. While there is no mistaking the early influence of the jazz greats and 90s hip hop, Mr. Käfer has a dynamic sound that continues to develop. His music is nostalgic but understated, with deep introspective vibes. Originally from Austria, Mr. Käfer draws creative inspiration from nature and from his travels in the world as well as other artists in the scene. He studied Audio Design in Salzburg and has released on Postpartum Records, Chillhop Music, Melting Pot Music, and others. This six song EP is his debut release with Nettwerk Music Group.
