In The Dark EP

In The Dark EP

Production duo Isotropik returns to Demand! For the most part they're probably still new to scene but this is already their 5th release with us. Granted 3 of them were solo tracks on V/A releases so it was about time for them to come up with another 4-tracker. The production duo has been quietly honing their skills in the last months, trying to come up with fresh ideas and this is what the In The Dark EP turned into. They're rather known for their minimalistic and techy sound but here we present you a complete different, more liquid and melancholic side of theirs. This is especially hearable in "In The Dark" and "Unchanging" where the guitars play a huge role in setting the mood, still with the commodity of a lovely warm bassline, crunchy rolling drums and perfectly set vocal snippets. On "Universal" on the other hand one can clearly hear a bit what of Marcus Intalex shining through, just a bit more dreamy. The horns is what made it really stick out tho and we love them! Last but certainly not least we have "Immersion". Keeping the vibe in the same vein but think of a more Ivy Lab kinda style as the duo switches to half time / beats on this one. Big bassline, Big vocals, Big kick. Viiiibes! Sound of the summer!
