If I drown is TAOTAO’s first EDM song, a music style she has always wanted to try. This song talks about her mental struggles while pursuing her dreams to become the shining star and someone’s inspiration, that leads her to fall into an even deeper black hole of depression. Though it is speaking from her own experience, but this is very common in the era of fast paced digital world, when we are all too anxious to seek instant success. Coincidentally TAOTAO found out t only after writing the song, that producer Heartgrey has also been down this road before. Adding extra meaning to the song, writing and producing If I drown becomes a healing process for both of them. This English single is only part 1, the Chinese version featuring a male rapper will be part 2. This project is also paving way to upcoming EP release in Summer.
