Shrimpnose has been climbing the ranks over the past years, with features in Complex, VICE, NPR, and most recently Rinse FM, Passion of the Weiss, and BBC. He has a decorated history of collaborations with maxime., arbour, Bleep Bloop, Daedelus, Bobby Raps, Bad Snacks, Little Snake, Somni, Harris Cole, and others. He has performed across the country with underground heavyweights such as Anomalie, XXYYXX, Purity Ring, Caspa, TOKiMONSTA, Blockhead, Giraffage, Gold Panda, and more. He has also played one of the final Low End Theory nights in LA, where he would eventually set as home base. With chill electronic tracks toeing the line between melancholic insomnia and vulnerable instrumental beats, Shrimpnose's current sound feels reflective, unable to sleep, lost in a glitched-out world of laid-back bedtime sounds. Emotionally immersive and fully fitting for a late night walk or therapeutic cry, his steady outpouring of music further solidifies Shrimpnose in not only the lofi hip-hop space but the electronic producer world as a whole.
