Their latest single "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" is a cover of Cyndi Laupers's hit single. "When Cyndi Lauper recorded Girls Just Wanna Have Fun she changed some of the lyrics because they weren’t female empowering." says The Harmaleighs. "It then became her biggest hit and a dance bop for all of time. We think that Cyndi Lauper is a badass queen and wanted to pay homage to how she stuck it to the man. It’s simple, girls just wanna have fun."
