Because yes: we exist! Not just as a potential additional box in state documents. We exist, even if we are not given the opportunity by the Swiss Federal Council to exist at state level. We exist anyway. We exist - not just as a small number of unreported cases. We are here. We are everywhere. We want at least one more option for gender entry in Switzerland. Even if the registers and statistics are not adjusted, we still exist - simply (made) invisible. We want visibility. We are not a trend. It is not just a phase. We've been around since the beginning of time. You can't get rid of us. And we will stay and fight. We are loud, colorful, gentle and - here. Have fun with our pronoun salad. With our genitalia potpourri. Have fun with our mishmash of colors. With our tangle of identities. With our queer vortex. Have fun with our gender cocktail. To all the genderqueer people out there: We are with you. We are many. What we are and what we know is real, natural and beautiful. And to all the others: We won't take anything away from you, pinky promise. Be in solidarity and fight with us. We need you.
