Lyrically it’s about being fed up with someone’s games, they’ve been chasing you, playing you, messing with you and now you’re calling them out, cutting them off and putting an end to it all. It’s kind of an empowering “f*** you” song which I also love to write about. There’s just so many ways to explore it lyrically and I loved the “game over” theme. I had lots of fun including sound bites in the production like pressing a button and a stereotypical voice over of “game over” when you’ve won a video game. It’s fun and playful and lighthearted whilst still also maintaining the familiar Chymes dark pop overtones."
