Next up on ABODE we’ve got an exciting new debut from Liverpudlian DJ/producer duo, Nightlapse, who join the firm with brand-new single, ‘Funk’. Since meeting and forming a strong friendship in Miami at Ultra Music Festival in 2013, Andy and Peter decided to get in the studio together and it wasn’t long before the tunes started flowing and they were soon being booked for gigs at internationally renowned festivals & events including Creamfields, Miami Music Week, Ibiza, Scotland’s EH1, We Are FSTVL, Parklife, WHP, O2 Academy Brixton and Belsonic in Belfast, where they played for 20,000 people! Alongside all the touring, Nightlapse have produced some killer tracks and remixes which have found homes on an impressive line-up of labels including Ultra, Armada, Toolroom, Sola, Mau5trap, Solotoko, Area 10 and Catch & Release, receiving support from some of the biggest DJs in the game; Vintage Culture, Diplo, Solardo, Fisher, Sonny Fodera, Jax Jones, Charlie Hedges, David Guetta, MK and more. ‘Funk’ showcases Nightlapse’s ability to craft highly unique synth-driven grooves combining them with catchy vocals, sharp percussion, commanding bassline and a pulsating low-end, keeping the energy high and transporting listeners straight to the dancefloor.
