Fanaq (Srilangsuir Demo 2004) (20th Anniversary Release)

Fanaq was recorded back in 2003-2004, along with another track titled Pengabdi Abadi, by the band, Srilangsuir as a 2-track demo release. Srilangsuir was the name of the band before changing their name to Kraton, after experimenting a new subgenre, Symphonic Metal and fused ethnic Javanese music element into their music. Srilangsuir was founded in 1997 playing covers ranging from international metal band such as Metallica and Iron Maiden, and regional metal bands such as XPDC, Rockers and Rusty Blade. They competed in several band competitions and performed a few local gigs. In 2007, as Kraton, the band added two new additions to their personnel; a female vocalist and a keyboardist. Fanaq was rewritten and re-recorded in 2009 to the style of Kraton and released as their debut single on the radio.
