DHR 15 Diephuis & Maj - Escape Into The Night The musical collaboration of Diephuis & Maj star- ted after their performance in a sold-out Wester- gas Amsterdam. They decided to work together on new Afro-Tech and Melodic House tracks. The synergy of Diephuis & Maj resulted in 'Escape Into The Night'. A vibrant, synth-driven, pulsating melodic prime time/big room Afro-tech track. In- cluding a mesmerizing vocal delivery that metamorphoses the party into a symphony of melody and emotions, movement and groove. Born and raised in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, Maj grew up in a warm and musical household environ- ment. Aside from her successful modeling career spanning over 12 years, Maj has always been able to or- ganically blend her musical talent in singing and songwriting on stage and in the studio. After several suc- cessful collaborations with star producers Macho Psycho (Sweden) and Greg Curtis (USA), Maj decided to diversify her sound in order to reach a bigger crowd in the dance scene by combining her vocals with her dj skills. Maj’s musical style taps into a wide array of House music combining ethnical, afro and melodic sounds inspired by her rich cultural heritage with roots in the North African, Morocco. A perfect balance in her dynamic and groovy sets. In a short period she has been playing all over the world at the most presti- gious clubs and festivals such as Miami Music Week, Baden in Weiss, Digital X, Amsterdam Dance Event, Amsterdam Music Festival and this year she will make her debut at Tomorrowland 2023. Maj played alongside Camelphat, Claptone, Benny Rodrigues, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Roog & Erick-E, Diep- huis and many more! Recently Maj is focusing on her own solo and collaborative material that will be relea- sed in 2023. Diephuis worked with artist like Jocelyn Brown, Ursula Rucker, Shea Soul, Tracy Hamlin, Jephte Guillaume, Eastar, Angelos, Natasha Watts, Stephanie Cooke, Emilie Nana, Paco Fernandez, and others. His single “Crossing Borders” was released on Nulu Electronic and remixed by Manoo supported by Black Coffee and compiled on his Mixmag Magazine mix cd. This remix was reworked by the Kings Of House NYC (Louie Vega, David Morales) and charted #1 in the Afro House Top 100 on Traxsource.His collaboration with Angelos was also supported by Black Coffee and charted #1 in the Afro House Top 100 on Traxsource.
