EPIDERME DESVAIRADA is a tribute to Mário de Andrade, a significant artist and researcher of Brazilian culture. Fellow Brazilian composer Gaia Wilmer uses the research led by him to develop her own musical universe. For Wilmer this project is about one's feeling of belonging and the desire to connect more deeply to one's roots. The work of Andrade is the starting point as well as the end point for these explorations, and the listener is invited to join on this journey with Wilmer as their guide.
