The Spanish PARALEL is back on the label with his second EP titled ‘Electric’. The EP consists of two signature and colorful originals in collaboration with vocalist Davide Famularo. As an addition to these originals, we are very glad to welcome Angelov and Carlo Whale to the label with two divergent, but great remixes. The first track of the release is ‘Electric’. The dynamic arrangement takes you on a trip which starts off with the calming vocals of Davide, after which the rhythmic synthwork leads itself into the break while giving a euphoric feeling. From there the track works slowly to the final part of this lively piece, going up again towards the end of the track. In his remix of ‘Electric’, Angelov gave it his signature twist. The energy level goes up from the start immediately. He managed to use the vocals in such a way the whole feeling of the vocals changed. Nevertheless, they still fit perfectly to the elements taken from the original. Throughout the composition a quite fierce characteristic synth comes through, giving the remix some extra roughness. The third track is titled ‘Nothing is Real’. In this one, PARALEL also created a flamboyant play between the calming vocals and the rhythmic snynthwork. This play works towards quite a tight drop, after which the organic percussion comes up again, forming a very danceable unity with a darker undertone. Carlo Whale turned the focus a bit more towards the vocals in his remix of ‘Nothing Is Real’ and gave it modern melodic techno surroundings. In this way the vocals come out more ecstatic. In combination with the dreamy lead, the remix became uplifting and romantic at the same time.
