Driftwood Choir’s self-titled is a beautiful exploration of change, growth, and the passage of time. With 10 powerful tracks, the album takes listeners on a journey through the shifting landscapes of both the world around us and our inner selves. The album's focus track, "Everything Moves," was crafted in collaboration with fellow Nettwerk artist Richard Walters and marks a significant moment in the band's evolution. As the band explains: "Everything Moves is a song we wrote with our friend and fellow Nettwerk artist Richard Walters from the UK right around the time of the conception of Driftwood Choir as its own project. Everything Moves is a statement with multiple meanings to each one of us individually, but the message is yet somehow clear despite that. The literal and figurative earth beneath you moves, changes and becomes unrecognizable over time so finding an inner strength and an appreciation for the fleeting moment we’re in is endlessly important". The album is enriched by the band's earlier releases, each song contributing to a tapestry of sound that ranges from heartfelt ballads to more upbeat, introspective anthems. These tracks collectively emphasize the band's growth, as they draw from both personal experiences and a shared creative journey. The band explains: "Though we have only been working together about a year, this album in many ways represents the culmination of nearly a decades worth of work. Drew and I both brought ideas to this project that we’d been secretly saving for years because we knew how great they were, but felt like they needed the fresh perspective from the right collaborator. Driftwood Choir is exactly the halfway point between us, our skills and interests aline in just the right place to bring out the absolute best in us and this album is a proud testament to that fact."
