“Reflet” is the second track my sister and I did. We decided to record the first one, “nuits d’été” while being quarantined back in April, in our parents’ house. As the second quarantine was announced in France, it was pretty natural for us to make music together again aha. The whole idea of making music together is to be as spontaneous as possible. We never thought our little song would reach over 3,5M views on YouTube, as we just had fun making music in our bedroom. We love this new song cause it is so different from our first. Clementine had that ukulele riff for quite some time but never really said it to me. I just heard her playing in her room a few times, and I thought it was beautiful. So that’s exactly what I wanted to keep, that feeling of someone’s playing a song right next to you, as if she was in the same room. I actually recorded the ukulele with my iPhone btw. Anyway, we really had fun making this song, and mom said she loves it, so it’s already a success for us aha.
