Today, the moniker IJO is synonymous with electronic music enthusiasts, and his renowned "The Driw Play EP" persists on thousands of computers worldwide. In 2004, the 21-year-old artist from Klaipeda, Lithuania, took his first steps on our Sutemos net label, unveiling the exquisite "The Driw Play EP," a success whose echoes persist to this day. In 2005, two tracks from the EP featured on the Pizza Jazz Music compilation curated by the famed Lithuanian house duo RyRalio DJs. Following his Sutemos debut, IJO emerged as a key figure in experimental electronica events and festivals. Regardless of the venue, applause ensues when the tracks from "The Driw Play EP" fill the air, solidifying it as one of the most enduring releases by a Lithuanian artist on Sutemos. IJOs musical influence extends beyond his EP, with his track gracing the recent Sutemos compilation "Draumar Um Kalt Sumar," and two remixes enhancing the debut single "Contraction EP" by Lithuanian band FusedMARc. Today, IJO presents his latest creation, the "Computer Pop" album. In his own words, "While many anticipate something akin to 'The Driw Play EP,' I'm not revisiting that style. I create music for myself, unafraid to disappoint, and 'Computer Pop EP' features tracks that share the mood of the original EP, alongside new ones that retain a similar vibrancy. Future releases will diverge from this sound entirely."
