Fletcher Reed is the nom de plume of prolific music producer and globetrotter who started learning various instruments and playing in different bands at an early age. A few years back, he and a friend took off for Zimbabwe, their first destination on what would become a mostly non-stop journey across several continents for two years. The trip deeply influenced Fletcher's perception of the world and its people and cultures, injecting his music with a specific sense of place and geographic spirit to represent his wanderlust instincts to get up and go. Fletcher Reed's new album Community couldn't be a more fitting title. The highly collaborative LP features numerous vocalists coming and going, all adding their own styles and flavors to Fletcher's downtempo electronica, resulting in mellow R&B, chill soul music, trip-hop, you name it. An eclectic yet cohesive project, Community is Fletcher Reed's first LP in two years, and his first vocal project with Nettwerk Music Group.
