Label head Angioma returns to the imprint to present ‘Cold Morning EP’. A foray into a diverse spectrum of Techno tracks, departing from his minimalistic soundscapes on previous releases but still maintaining the producer’s groove and aligning with the label’s essence. Title track “Cold Morning” leads the way as a superb peak time set starter, kicking off with an intro that’s replaced by hard-hitting beats, which are soon joined by a high-octane synth line. A more experimental approach is offered in the off-beat Techno on “Earthquake”, where an atmospheric tension builds from start to finish. Then, the properly named “A Drop Of Acid” takes you on a journey with its memorable speech and catchy acid touches. The rumbling “Storm At The Rave” is possibly the most propulsive offer on release, while the energy goes down on “The Ancient Gods At War”, leaving a perfect weapon for occasions in which the steam needs to be reduced on the dancefloor. “Body” ends the EP on a very much vigorous note, with a certainly menacing voice and sinister ambience.
