Close Your Eyes, scheduled for release on October 28th, is the second single of the new album by composer and pianist Rui Ribeiro, which will be released by the end of November. This new album, called Miniatures III, is the composer's fifth studio album and the third volume of the Miniatures collection, a format that consists of small pieces for solo piano, performed by the composer himself. In the author's words: “In a world where we are constantly bombarded with visual stimuli, I like to maintain the habit of closing my eyes regularly; It allows me to slow down, to calm down, to concentrate, to better understand who I am and what's surrounding me. In one of these moments when I closed my eyes for a few minutes, this simple melody naturally came into my mind, hence the name, Close Your Eyes".
