Ornithology is the lofi moniker of Shaan Chhadva aka SCayos who wanted to be an ornithologist when he was younger. Focusing instead on music, this passion project continues to value the love of bird watching and the importance of chasing your childhood dreams, whatever they may be. After a series of strong EPs & an LP alongside Oatmello, as well as remixes of Chet Baker classics, Ornithology took the stage for the first time in Los Angeles and recorded a 20+ minute jazz set. Featuring a drummer, a bassist, and a trumpet player, Ornithology was comfortable on the keys as he reworked three Chet Baker tracks: "Oh, You Pretty Moon", "Love for Sale", and "Snowbound". While the studio remixes already have over 2 million streams, the extended and organic live sessions do nothing but enhance the jazzy listening experience.
