Contemporary classical composer Gabriel Ness presents his chronicle of 21 rich orchestral soundscapes and solo chamber works celebrating the changing months and seasons of the year, from springtime bliss and summer warmth through to peaceful snowfall in winter. As a young film composer, Gabriel Ness revels in creating compositions built through intricate symphonic layers and overwhelming waves of synthesised sound, but in this musical cycle 'Changes' he takes the opportunity to explore expression through individual solo instruments such as the reflective guitar score of 'March' and intimate felt piano tones in 'Winter'. He says: "In this project I have delved into what I love but also touched upon musical creation in a style which I haven't yet explored. This album represents changes in myself as much as it does the months and seasons."
