SINOPIA - CARTOLINE EP Work: enter Sinpoia world means to dive into analogic sounds, warm synthesizers, dusty effects, wavy pedals and hypnotic drum machines that creates abstract atmopsheres, fading into obscurity until emerging pads bring the listener towards bright landscapes. An album that oscillates between downtempo, instrumental dub, techno and lo-fi drawing ambient scenes. Then the artists touch down other different electronic shores of a prismatic scene able to innovate and refine itself simultaneously. The artists span over this wide and futuristic land to put into music memories that could be own the ones from each of us. Every track is related to a place that left a sign inside the artists, something that helped them to grow up or feelings that have filled the soul. In the end the album speaks about our beautiful country that, despite many problems, has a force that absorb you and let you live into a fleeting modern fairy tale whom is diffucult to escape. Concept: A full exchange of ideas and productions that gave life to the new album. The idea is to represent the sound memory of italian places seen and experienced during the their lives. Name: sinopia is a reddish color, once used by painters of frescoes for preparatory drawings (called synopsis too). With the same principle the works of Sinopia are suitable for the production of remixes. The intention is to make available a draft of other artists who can conclude the work in different ways.
