Manchester based Underground House and Techno DJ and producer, Joseph Edmund, makes his debut on the ABODE Records imprint this September with his brand new ‘Can I (See You)’ EP. With a love for Dance music from an early age, Joseph started DJing at the age of 19 at some of Manchester’s top venues including Gorilla and Sankey’s where he often stole the show with his passionate and unique sets. Hailed as one to watch by major players, Solardo and Mark Jenykns, Joseph has spent the last few years perfecting his craft and finding his true sound, resulting in signings to Ministry Of Sound, Kaluki, Solid Grooes, VIVa, elrow, Sola and Hot Creations. Lead track 'Can I (See You)' kicks things off, providing a grooved low-end melody, warped transitional effects and mesmerising utterances of the tracks title. It's a rich, emotional track that brings something different to the dance floor. ‘Nero' closes out the EP, more indicative of Joseph’s renowned signature sound; expect chunky drums, elaborate percussion and plenty of texture and rawness, bringing the energy straight to the heart of the dancefloor.
