Deb Talan, best known as the girl from the folk pop duo The Weepies, wrote her new album as a way to reclaim a part of herself after focusing on her marriage, children, band and a successful battle against breast cancer, the album is an exploration that features Deb’s pop sensibility, her signature confessional writing, and of course her unmistakable voice. “Bring Water” is the first track off the album and it sucks you in from the first beat.
