Imprint co-founder BLANKA strikes back on the label for the third time, this occasion delivering 4 remarkably effective cuts that sway between moods yet maintain a vibe that will surely keep dancefloors moving. First up is “Holding Pattern”, a perfect example of the artist’s driving, spacey sound. On “Labyrinth Of Emotions” she showcases her modern take on bleepy Techno with an unfolding synth line that’s hard to ignore. A more minimalistic approach can be heard at the beginning of “Can You Hear Me?”, but the soulful vocals and percussions that suddenly take over make it a perfect weapon for most sets. A slight switch in atmosphere is then made the lively, bouncy “Exotic World”, and afterwards the EP is finished with the ethereal “Between Heaven”: a superb closing piece with an emotive voice and a special touch on its percussive elements.
