Nashville/Toronto based Billy Raffoul expertly marries his soulful/rock vocals with intricate guitar work, crafting a body of work that’s propelled him to stages around the world. His moody songwriting draws comparisons to artists like Hozier, Lewis Capaldi and James Bay. He recently released his first LP with Nettwerk titled For All These Years. He also won Song Of The Year at the 2023 Indie Awards for "We Could Get High." This acoustic version of his single “Better” is a thoughtful song about recognizing how past experiences in relationships can shape how you approach new loves. "Better is a song I wrote very quickly a very long time ago," says Billy. "At the time it felt too simple to me. Years later that is my favourite thing about it. There’s not much to it. It’s a love song about treating someone with kindness."
