Bad TV was written mid pandemic: I was unemployed, and spending most of my time doom-scrolling while watching Netflix etc. with a strong preference for murder mysteries. So it's about that, and feeling really low and powerless. It also happened to come out as this fun, angsty rock song, which I like.
