Paulatine was born with the idea of capturing the personal sound of Uner, a Spanish DJ and Producer with the greatest potential in recent times. That is why a lot of the labels tracks are either his own production or works from other producers which have a lot in common with his personal and unmistakable style. Those productions are always halfway between the deepest and purest techno and a new type of funky and daring house, which is the dominant trend in the productions and sets of this Catalan artist. Paulatine‘s first track is from one friend of this young but thrilling family: AFFKT. This Valencian producer is, in all probability, one of the sensations of the international scene. With collaborations with labels such as Rekids, Mothership or Barraca Music and upcoming releases with Cécille, Circus Company and International Freakshow, he is destined to be one of the most relevant artists of 2010. With BlackFlash EP, the first of a three-record-trilogy, he explores the funk and soul sound of the sixties, seventies and eighties to bring it closer and to mix it with today´s sound. Das and Milongas are two tracks with symbolic strength which captivate the public from the first moment and clearly show the sensitivity, personality and originality of the person behind them. The remixes are from Paulatine´s owner, Uner, and from two of today´s best Italian artists, Luciano Esse & Antonio De Angelis aka Toni D. Both treat the original pieces with care and add their own personal touch, the first one stressing on the black sound and the other on a more classic and dubby techno. It is an excellent first reference from a family label with a strong international spirit which will give us plenty to talk about.
