Marc Brown is firmly embedded in the Da Lata family, a former member of Smoke City alongside Chris Franck, more recently the pair have combined as The Quiet Ones. Marc’s take on “About Time” is deep spectral trip-hop that lovingly dislocates the original into a space dub fantasy that utilises all his characteristic quirkiness. We are thrilled to bring you this further excursion from Adriana’s E.P. The songs were always prime candidates for the right kind of sensitive treatment, Marc’s approach is entirely that as he preserves much of the original musicality albeit in a sublimely fractured form.
